They DIDN'T start with glass & plastic cut to size. It was layed out with templates and cut to the necessary shape & size. Sealed after it was cut with the black sealant.

That does look really good.

Brent, since they were originally on the plastic between the glass, is it any deduction in F.P. with it etched on the glass? I'm guessing it would be at the discretion of the judging team. Just curious...

sorry steve i deleted the post and reposted..

here is a practice try on an old glass
it came out perfect
the 309 is for a 9/30 production date
the A means for a model A
its all in the JS book

Judging Standards see page 10-2 and 10-3 for the "bugs". I just went to the eBay site that Mitch referenced above and bought a kit...looking forward to having that piece done. The FP car has OEM but these should serve well for the next A's in the garage.

if you need anything Michael who sells these on ebay is also mainly on the early v-8 side under 35fordtn
he is very helpful and follows up on any issues....
great guy highly recommended
