grahamhot30 Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2014 Posts: 1	Drill or not to drill sump oil tray Have found the bigend dipper trays in some engines drilled? why would this be done. Thought the idea was to have a high level of oil in the dipper tray to lubricate the big end bearing and splash oil up into the piston to lubricate the little end bearing.
