Hi Jon,
You didn't get back to me, but I'm still curious if a 39 pickup seat will fit. A 39 seat sits on a wooden frame that rests over metal dowels on the seat riser. The bench seat is fastened to the wood so you can remove the seat. The back rest is hinged at the top and screws in at the reinforcing strip on the inside of the cab just below the rear window.
