Default 36 pickup headliner kit

I just got a headliner kit for my 36 pickup, when you guys installed it did you use the original type push pins and drill out the panels, or use some
nice self taping upholstery screws?

I used the original screws through the trim above and behind the door that holds the windlace and push pins below the rear window, the only change was front top and I tried to duplicate there center top holding screws and did this. I think it is very simular to what should hold the lower corners of the door panels.

Well i finely got my headliner kit in my 36 pickup, WHAT A BITCH!. glad that it is finished. it looks ok . also i replaced the wind lace. i had the garnish molding out for the rear window , and when i was tacking in the new wind lace , with the little metal nails something hits me in the shoulder. then i look and the window is laying up against me and on the floor with alot of cracks in it i was fit to be tied. if someone came up to me and said you wont to sell that truck i probably would have sold it i was so mad. then it was time to quit. well i think i would pull the motor or rebuild the front end then put in a another headliner kit. the old truck sounds nice and tight inside i think it is happy . i an just glad that it is finished...Brendan
