Hello,
I was reading a recent thread on rebuilding hood latches with a rebuild kit, and then I took a look at my latches. Have a look at this photo of the bottom of one of them. The lower end of the center post looks like a nail head, with the spring right behind it. Isn't there supposed to be some sort of little cross pin that can be removed? I can't figure out if my latches can actually be taken apart. Are mine a unusual style, or older repros? Thanks, Doug

No they can't. Must be a repro. I threw mine like that away.
