How do I tell the difference between an A and B cam?

B has the extra lobe to run the fuel pump.

And if you are asking about the distributor cam, here is a picture showing the difference. The B cam has about 10* more dwell when both are set at .020".

I'm here to enjoy the hobby, and enjoy the cars no matter what they look like. Most of the worlds problems are electrical.
