Hi,
Can someone help me out? I have been cleaning my rear brakes up on my 1929 Pickup. I removed the brake assemblies a long time ago. I have now come to put them back on but cannot get the brake levers through the wishbone. I have read Les Andrews book and removed the emergency brake band but I still cannot get the levers through the wishbone. What am I doing wrong? I feel like I am using my mind! Please can someone put me right. Thanks Andy. |

did you try jacking up the rear end and losen the wishbone and see if they will fit by moving the wishbone a little.

Take the wishbone off, install the backing plates, then reinstall the wishbone. Be sure you have the backing plates on the correct sides.

I have managed to get them on now! I even had to remove the exhaust to get the passenger side wishbone back on! |
