Default 1936 ford starter/nut that holds cable from switch

Can any one tell me what size and thread for the nut that holds the cable on the starter terminal?

7/16-24 hex check nut part # 33923-S7

Mine is a 5/16-24.
But the nut seems taller than std and the side walls seem narrower than std.
