Default '36 Back Roll-Down Window Install Questions

I am getting ready to install the back, roll-down window in my '36 coupe and have a couple of questions. The window assembly was not in the car when I bought it years ago, nor was the track. I've searched several car sites, FB, HAMB, YouTube, etc., without success. Hoping someone here can help me out.

Does the "fuzzy channel go all the way around the window opening, or does it go from the top of the metal side channel around the top of the window opening, to the top of the other side channel? Any picture would really help.

Is the entire window assembly installed all assembled to the regulator, or is the regulator installed and the window fit into it somehow. Not sure how that could be accomplished.

If anyone could help me out with some installation tips, I'd be be very grateful.

Thanks,
- Bob

I won't say I'm an expert on this. The glass channel is one piece a big inverted U. I installed the channel, glass with lower track, and the regulator in one piece, then installed the regulator panel. Once in place I rolled the window down and put some tiny screws in the glass channel. Don't remember on the lower part of the glass channel but may have added screws before the regulator panel. Picture doesn't really show much.

Thank you for your reply. I'll give it a try today and see how it goes.

I have a couple of rods in my back from recent back surgery and it's difficult for me to bend like I used to do. Having an idea of what to do helps me limit the necessary time required to contort into positions I shouldn't ber in, so I really appreciate your help !
