1931 Deluxe Fordor Headliner Material Q
I'm in the process of ordering a new interior for my SW Deluxe Fordor. The brown mohair that classtique offers matches the original unfaded mohair well enough, but there is nothing there that matches the original headliner material.
The original headliner material is a mid brown short mohair type feeling fabric. Classtique has a light brown material in the door cards section of the sample pack. I suppose the material could have aged and gotten darker, but the sun visor protected part of the headliner and it's a dark to mid brown. Has anyone gone through this before and knows what the closest material is? I'm waiting for my copy of the MAFCA book of standards, so can't look this up just yet. |

The Stds is going to call for a Brown Cotton fabric. Wool for a headliner would be too heavy and it would soon sag. Mike sells a light brown headliner material. |
