There's a good chance that many later ones would work, the transmission innards were used into the 50s, looking in the "green book" parts book would give you the interchange

![]() I suggest you ask your question at the AA Forum (http://forums.aa-fords.com/ ). And, you need to indicate what transmission you have (dual high or 4-speed).
