Help undoing a remote coil setup
Somewhere down the line a remote coil conversion kit was put on my '41, I had Skip rebuild a coil for me so I want to put it back more original, car is 6 volt positive ground. I am missing the screws to mount coil (10-32x1-1/2?) and how to wire this up. Which wires go where on coil?, Condensor mounting? If you have any pictures it would help.

Re: Help undoing a remote coil setup
You should be able to get the screws at any ACE, Loew's or H Depot.

Re: Help undoing a remote coil setup
There should only be one wire feeding the coil.
Keep the wire from loom to coil the rest is history. |

Re: Help undoing a remote coil setup
A stock condenser would be easier

Before I apply the juice, look at my photo and see if it looks ok

Re: Help undoing a remote coil setup
Also make sure the resistor under the dash is in the wire going to the new coil. Full 6 volts will damage your new coil. It may have gotten bypassed when the adapter and later coil was installed.
