What part of it are you in question about? Looking at the inside of the drum, You can get a cork gasket the fits against the inside front, the lens next, there were are some a metal plate STOP on the backside of the lens, then your nut on both sides of the lens female on the inside and male part on the outside. Some of the retainer nuts had a gasket on the inside, my original did, repro I got from Snyder did not. Bratton's has those 2 gaskets. Hope this helps...

I need to see how the pieces go together on the dividing plate. I know there is an insulator and not sure how the bulb is held in. Mine is all apart.

This thread should help. The inside was silver from Ford, but white will reflect more light.

Excellent, just what I was looking for. I disassembled mine in "72". Sold model a and kept tail light assembly in cigar box all that time. Could not recall how it all went together. I assume the L connector must be insulated from the tail light frame?? Thanks for finding that post, guess I did not enter the proper search nomenclature.

Yes, the connector needs to be insulated from the body. You turn the taillight socket as you rotate the L connector into the groove of the brass pin. When the socket is in place the lock pin in it will pop out into the hole in the steel body.

Actually if your L connector isn't riveted in place, you can install the taillight socket first, then insert the L connector into the groove, then install the L connector with it's insulators.
