hey guys,when I hit that starter button,somtimes the engine will just stop turning over.after a few secons I try again then she will fire up.anybody know whats going on?it doesn't always do it.thank you everyone,this site is awesome.greetings from buffalo ny

Weak battery, bad ground, bad connection at starter switch, possibly something wrong with the starter motor like a dirty commutator or badly worn or damaged brushes.
Any number of things most of which are fairly easy to fix. |

Check your timing. May not be retarded enough when the lever is up. I assume it is up every time you try to start it.
