Default 59 ford steering gear box

bobss396

thanks for the info on the gear box, ithink i can change the gasket on top of the
box,but i was hoping i could change the one on the bottom without removing the
whole gear box. just bought this skyliner,so i guess the fun begins!

The gaskets are actually a shim pack that control the worm bearing preload so if your steering isn't sloppy or too tight be sure to go back with the same thickness of shims or unhappiness may result.
