I have had my trk 8 months.did basic wiring this week(thanks Purdy).trk ran &I have started it at least once a week.toggel switch for ign,no ammeter.installed brattons ammeter this week¬ charging.have read all posts on this subject.did tom w's suggestion on jumper wire across cut out terminals for a second, buried needle on + side.cutout looks to be aftermarket,not painted,silver color. ford script ,terminals marked arm,batt. my temp yellow/black wire is on battery side.put on the good glasses&strong drop light¬iced cutout not connected to generator.worked on cars in 50's&60's&seem to remember L shape metal bracket like on a starter solenoid.is that what connects the two or is it a wire. thanks
