Default LH Em. Brake part number delima...what is it?

When the Left Hand Emergency Brake was moved to directly in front of the gear shift, it left a hole or a void on the lower left inside cowl section.

This "hole or void" was covered by a plate for some time till Ford closed the hole in the cowl assembly entirely.

My question then is this...What is the name of that plate and what was the Ford part number representing the plate itself?

Anyone have a photo of it?

Thanks.

I'm pretty confident the number is A-35116.

After going back and looking at a couple pics of early bodies I'm certain that is the correct number

Here is the plate on my 9-27-28 Phaeton, and I'm sure it's original, but can anyone confirm that since it looks different than the one sold by Snyder's.

Deron and Tom and Marco...Yes, this is the part I am refering to.

So this is part number A-35116 "Floorboard Riser-- Plate" (as Ford refers to it)???

Can't verify the part number but I have no doubt Marco is right. For whatever it's worth, I've seen a number of cars with this plate and they're always held in place by only two fasteners, just as illustrated in Tom's photo.

It is symmetrical so one part fits both left and right hand drive cars.

Somebody must be kidding! A-2706 is pictured in your parts books!

Seems like making the repro part like the original part would have been easier than the shape Snyder's sells, which also doesn't show the needed bend in it.

I'll check tonight. I don't remember how many screws hold it down(2?)
The question that I've asked before,......When they changed the location
of the e-brake handle, the wood filler piece should have changed shape
also? On both sides? And the 60 day rule?
My August car has the plate,....but some of the wood is missing on both
sides,....kinda hard to tell. I haven't pulled the wood out yet.

I didn't bother to mention it but the filler block was changed under the same engineering release.
