Default Victoria Sheet Metal Bead Question

I have acquired a late 31 Victoria and noticed that the width of the bead is different on the bottom of the door and cowl. The door bead measures 1 inch and the bottom of the cowl, one and one quarter inch. Obviously at some point in the life of the car patch panels were used. To complicate matters even more, I checked with one of the major parts suppliers and the bead of their door patch panel measures 1 and one eight inch and cowl panel bead measures one a three sixteenths of an inch. In my efforts to correct the wrong pieces,,, I am looking for someone with an original car or knowledge of what is correct. What say ye?
