Default Just for fun! Mart's rusty 100E Part 15! Strut top repair commences! VIDEO!

In part 15 of this epic saga: One major repair area uncovered when the front end sheetmetal was removed is the front suspension top mount on the left side. It had been very shoddily repaired. It's going to be a big job and this video covers the first stages. Planning, strut removal and a repair to the firewall/inner fenderwell interface.

The more you did into it the worse it seems to get, it’s interesting to watch you bring this car back from the rust heap. It looks like the kind of things that happen to the vehicles in northern NY, they just disappear into a pile of rust/dust.
Was it the ocean salt that caused this?
