Does anyone have info on how rare a "fm" horn is for a model a? Numbers produced and time period made.

I had an early one once. I got it at a garage sale for $3.00. How much did you pay for yours?

They are fairly common on 1928's here in NZ. The model FM is actually made by EA Labs, NY & later ones ['29 on] had the slightly different cover back.
They are as worth as much as someone will give you on the day & bearing in mind you can get new trumpets ,covers etc. these days.

Late 1927, Early 1928 Yes, until mid year with the hump type cover, and thru 1929 with the indented style cover.. The first type did have some different things on the motor inside, but this cannot be seen with cover on.. Neither is "RARE" but at times, it can get more than a Sparton..
