Default model A engine dimensions

i've found quite a few specifications, but have not found any physical dimensions or a ('28) model A engine. length x width x height of the block would get me off to a start and any others would be great so i wouldn't be extrapolating or wagging my way through.

i am intending to build a scale Ingersol-Rand compressor circa 1928 in 1:12 scale for my model railroad.

and direction gratefully accepted!

thanks

On one of the free 3D cad file sites (-like GrabCad, I have seen a complete Model-A engine file set. I am not sure if you could either have your 3D printer scale it, -or whether you could import the file into SolidWorks or Fusion 360 and scale it there, but that may get you the info that you need.

wow. i'm embarrassed to admit i have no 3d printer, or the other 2 programs.

i Do have a box of legos from the local garage sale which i am intending to use for the engine block.

If i get the dimensions. If i can source the correct adhesive. If i get time to do the project.

guess i have more Ifs than technical savvy.

and i pretty much want to keep it that way!

Could you use an engine from a Hubley Model A?
