It depends if it is a 6' or 8' bed.. In either case it would be under 20'.. The F100 Styleside with a 6.5' bed has a wheel base of 110".. The F100 with an 8' bed has a wheel base of 118"...

Thanks Blu.......the guy brought it over to store this Winter and I had to move my '40 Sedan as far up as possible and it fit in. It's a short bed so no probs. I bought it and can't wait until a Spring !

Thx......Mike

The '57-60 Ford pickups are slowly gaining in popularity. I have always preferred the '59, they had the best grille, the '58-60 had quad headlights, where-as the '57 did not.
The wide cabs on the '57-60 set them apart from GM/Dodge, all of the Styleside' have an all steel double walled bed.
In 1958 I was a 'Hot Shot General Foreman for a large company, they gave me a new '58 F100, custom cab, I really thought I was hot stuff. My father had a '59 F100 Custom Cab, 292 V8 AT trans. When he died in '65 I got his truck. I have had at least one '59 F100 in my life every since.
I currently have 3 '59 F100 4x4's.. If you need any accessory parts, and/or body parts keep me in mind, I have a lot of stuff for the '58-60 trucks.

Hey Blu.....

This '57 has a Mustang HO 5.0 in it with a 5-Speed. Some rust here and there, but I bought it just to run around my town Gaylord in Northern Michigan during the Summer. It's fast !!!

I'll use it a lot, as I have a Headliner, Brakes, Running Board Cover and a couple other things to do next Summer on my '40 Sedan.

Thx....Mike

These are good looking old Fords. This is a Page from the Sales Brochure on the 1957 line of Ford Trucks. It lists the Wheelbase on the F100 available in 110" or 118".

mike42.. Has the front suspension been upgraded on your '57? If not I would strongly suggest that you do so before you drive it much with that 5.0 engine.
Back in the day when solid I-beam axles were common, like pre 1970, the I-beams and drum brakes were OK, not the best but OK. Traffic moves so fast now and the short wheel base pickups tend to swap ends in a panic stop.
I drove a '58 F100 to work everyday for three years, then switched to a '59 F100 for the next five years. Had some pretty heart thumping experiences with those trucks.
Two of my '59 F100 4x's are stock down to the last bolt, one is awaiting restoration. I think I am going to put a '78 F150 chassis under that truck.
