Default alternative to evaporust

I've used evaporust in the past and found that at $25 a gallon at the local hardware store to be very expensive and poops out fast.

I just got a gallon of this: http://www.rustdepot.com/

It is only $8.20 a gallon or so after dilution. Another advantage to it is that it can be mixed up with half the water to work faster. I'm using it to try to free up a stuck shaft in a Gordon Smith air compressor governor I bought from a forum member. My first impression of the stuff is very good having soaked some parts in it overnight.
