Push in spring loaded part just below handle ,then push out pin. Dave

Push the escutcheon toward the door panel until the pin is exposed, then push the pin down and out. It helps to have someone to hold the trim back while you remove he pin with a fine punch or other implement smaller than the pin hole.

Hmm, mine seem to be glued in. Guess I'll be buying some new ones in the future.

They are probably not glued in , but the diecast handle has "grown" (corroded) to the steel shaft.

I had a chance to take the driver's door apart today. The handles were glued on. One I was able to work loose but the other I had to take a grinder to. Happily Shoebox Central had used almost perfect takeoffs for $8 each. I'll weld up the holes on the stems and re-drill them so I can put the handles on how they are supposed to be. This stem had no hole and looks to be replaced. The other one had a wallow out hole with no pin either. Bubba was here! The guy I got the car from never took the doors apart as I had to twist off one of the screws holding the hardware onl.
