Default "General Repair" The second incredible film in the British Railway series

Thousands of you enjoyed "A Study in Steel" a film all about making a locomotive. Don't miss the second part "General Repair" Where you can see a locomotive totally rebuilt in 12 days. Check it out at The Old Motor.

My paternal Grandfather was a foreman in the Erecting Shops of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad in downtown Baltimore at Mt. Clare ( site of the present B&O RR Museum).

Pappy built and rebuilt Steam Locomotives from 1914 to 1950.

My maternal Grandfather worked in the Blacksmiths' Shop, making springs for the locomotives from 1926 to 1969.

Interesting to see British loco with externally-linked drivers...

Thanks for sharing !
