I was wondering if a battery with 730 Cranking Amps and 590 CCA is sufficient or should the cranking amps be more to supply power to the Model A starter.
Thanks for your time. Joe Grobleski |

6 volt or 12 volt?
Stock or modified (high compression head, for example)? If anywhere near stock, this is more than enough battery.

Sorry, its a 6 volt system although it will have a touring cam and high compression head.
Thanks, Joe Grobleski |

I bought an Optima battery, 1,000 cranking amps & 850 cold cranking amps!!
If I run out of gas,+&$*%@%, I can probably "CRANK"myself down to Bad Bud's for gas! Bill W.
