Default blue lenses

i got a neat set of blue-tinted lenses at hershey for a couple bucks...dont know what they fit, but might try to use them on my 30 model A. they're 8 3/8" diameter. what is stock model A?

these are pretty cool i think, they have a 3 dimensional triangle that sticks out of the front on the lens about and inch. i think they're some kind of model T aftermarket item. they're marked

VIOLET-RAY-LENS
SMITH GLASS CO.
MT. PLEASANT PA.

any info?

The cops may not be impressed. I would check on the local laws first.

Very interesting, not what I had imagined. Might work OK if they fit.

thats my concern...found a buddy with buckets, ill just test fit them...and maybe i'll print out the old ad and keep it in the car and show a cop if he gives me trouble! just tell him, "sorry officer, it says here they're comply with the laws of all states." hahaha

Just talked to a cop the other day, if the reflection of the light on the road is not blue they are legal no matter what color they look.

I wouldn't be to worried about the police. Just tell them that's what came on the car originally. Most of them don't know what kind of car a Model A is anyways. I had a friend make an illegal u-turn awhile back and got stopped in his 31 coupe. He got off with a warning. Under vehicle destription it read "1931 Ford pickup or El Camino."

Yes it was. Haha. I'm sure Logan can chime in and let us know exactly what it said on the warning. I'm not 100% sure on what it said, but I know it was soething ridiculous like that.
