floor board paint model a
Is their a paint available for floor boards that meets the requirements for fine point judging?? Regular black does not qualify !!

I use DP90, I thin out the first coat and it soaks in to the wood real goog then put two coats on them and they stay looking good for years,

Minwax ,Wood Finish ,, JACOBEAN 2750 ,,Penetrates , Stains & Seals ! I have done 5 "A"s all using this. With 2 Henry Ford winners ,, as far as Fine Point Judging it passed .

I have used Rustoleum paint thinned down (half solvent and half flat black paint). It is inexpensive and looks good - kind of like a stain.

We use a regular clear stain tinted with black until it matches a set of original Model A floor boards.
