Default doodlebug registrations..........

just recently bought a handful of New Hampshire doodle bug registrations.....

had no idea such a thing existed! a few A's and even one model B

if you had a doodle bug- AKA cut down ford into a homemade tractor, why would you need or want a registration (in NH terms- a title?)

I would think a bill of sale would suffice.

New Hampshire now has no title requirement for cars from before 1999.

https://www.dmv.nh.gov/vehicles-boat...xempt-vehicles

New Hampshire now has no inspection/emission requirement for cars older than 60 years.

https://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rul...saf-c3200.html

New Hampshire DOES require a Registration/Plate either the standard "Antique" Plate or if the vehicle is over 25 years old, it can be an original plate for the Model Year of the vehicle.

https://www.dmv.nh.gov/vehicles-boat...es/plate-types

The current complete list of NH Registration/Plate types is found at https://www.dmv.nh.gov/sites/g/files...ates-table.pdf. I don't see "doodlebug" as a category, but there are several classifications under which a doodlebug could be placed.

They're really just tractor registrations.Nobody cared what name anybody put on them, the price of the registration was the same for a $25.doodlebug as for a $10,000 tractor. No value based tax.We have to register them if used on the road.In 1984 my boss bought a new $180.000 Cat loader and he had to pay the same $7.to register it as I did for my 1958 Massey Ferguson.
