Locked Rear Wheel
I just finished installing a Mitchel OD and transmission. The car is still up on jack stands. When I put both the tranny and OD in neutral, the left rear wheel turns freely by hand. The right rear wheel, however, will not turn. Before I attempt to drive, do I have a problem or is this just the rear end behaving normally?

Re: Locked Rear Wheel
Taking a stab in he dark here but perhaps during removal or replacement of the rear end, the hand brake became locked on. The activating mechanism may have gone "over center" and is locked on. This wouldn't normally happen - a series of worn components and linkages may make it possible. Try the levers behind the backing plate for movement. If one is tight (most likely the hand brake one), I think you have isolated the problem. If you find a tight one, try pulling it back (that won't help if the foot brake is the culprit). You might get lucky but don't just think all is now well, FIX IT properly before you drive again for safety reasons.

Re: Locked Rear Wheel
Thank you Synchro99 and PatrickL. It was the e-brake indeed. It had not fully retracted. Seems that return spring(?) isn't pulling it fully back.
