Transmission Case Question

Hi All,

I wanted to get some input on this transmission rear thrust surface. With this amount of wear is this case still good or is it yard art? I am unclear from the description in Vanpelt’s book. This is a 39 style toploader case. I am hoping I am not going to have to find another case.
