Does anyone have a photo of a 53-55 F100 with a spotlight? I would like to see where they were installed. I have an original Ford script spolight for my 55 but the template shows mounting above the windshield which is not going to happen for mine. The folks at Unity told me that this was how all of them were mounted but have a hard time believing that. Thanks.

You can go to the unity spot light page. they still make the things. they will send you the pattern that goes on your truck cowl. It is a paper pattern and you lay it on your truck and mark where it goes. Check it out. I have a 56 and have the patterns and nos parts to do it. I learned the hard way.....

Thanks however I do have the pattern for 53-55 trucks but like I mentioned, it calls for above the windshield mounting. In my opinion besides looking absolutley terrible, I could not imagine having the spotlight handle coming out next to the visor and having it there ready to smash my head in the event of a sudden stop. This is the reason I was asking for photos for I have seen models like mine with them mounted close to the cowl.
