Default Zenith carb

I'm getting ready to rebuild my Zenith carb. I have read Les Andrews part about it. Is there anything else to lookout for or any hidden tricks?

One book that is written with great Zenith internal details is:

"Restoring The Model "A" and "B" Carburetors - The "REX" Reheis Way"

One point well taken is when he describes how to eliminate Zenith round bowl carburetor flooding & engine killing when making Model A abrupt stops.

His recommendation is to lower Ford's recommended carburetor bowl fuel height by 5/16" which is done with altering the float level which in turn operates the float valve.
