Picked up what I thought was a 32 commercial rad cap but turns out to be a 1930 Eaton two piece cap. Is there any value in these over reproduction? This one would need a restore as it is dented but can not figure out how it comes apart.

HB32,
I cannot answer your question --however below left is the cap that came with my car and which did not breath well and the repo EATON one I got from Synder. So far it's working great.

If it is original keep it! It will be better than anything made today. If you can't use it then put it up for sale as I am sure someone here will snap it up.

And actually yours is the one piece cap, look at Tom's pic, showing the joint between the two STAINLESS pieces, just below the knurling.

Thanks Steve and still learning my way around early Ford stuff. I thought it was 2 piece as it appears that the stainless cap fits over a center cap.
