Does anybody have any experience with the fordor roof wood kits from MACs? Mine doesn't seem to fit quite right.

Like any wood kit there is some fitting required. You might post how it's not fitting quite right. Over the years things have shifted body wise.

Although I bought some of my wood from Classic Wood in N.C,. the rest I made. If your wood doesn't fit right, check the body for if it's ever been hit. If that's Ok it may be that an error occurred in manufacture. I don't know who actually made the wood for Macs. I bought mine through Brattons and it was Classic Wood of N.C.. There is also Cubels, Fordwood in Utah I think.

In checking your car out, I think the one in the pictures is a Briggs Body. I don't see any mention of the manufacturer. Briggs and Murray bodies are a little different. Is it possible you may have ordered the wrong kit?
