Can someone help with this?
Thanks,

It says "The Swap Meet" right on the top of this web page toward the right of the middle.

Here are the final photos I was going to post before the thread disappeared. We were discussing the fiber gear, and these close-up's were supposed to help. But whatever... maybe a forbidden topic.

So what are the gears worth? How much will the market bear for these if a run of ten were made??

That's the photo I wanted to see!
Now,.... I can't remember what the other photo(s) looked like.
Question;....is that a thru hole?

Yes, this photo shows the thru hole.

Good question, Brent. I don't really know much about volume and demand. But the gear looks easy to reproduce. If the outer teeth get stripped, the gear may be repairable.

Brent,
The pinion assembled to my gear is swaged on and I don't know how it would be replaced after removal'
The pinion shown in Newshirt's photo appears to be pressed using a spline which may be re-assembled by pressing.
This may influence demand of ten or more gears depending on assembly design.
Thanks to all for your help,
Al

"Necessity is the Mother of butchery"....first you need the large gear,
too start the next operation...

Not knowing the size of the pinion or the bore is a problem,...BUT
little gears like that are common in "slot cars" and Radio Controlled
vehicles....

Thanks to all for your help,
Al
I still think that making the large gear from Aluminum and cutting
it with wire EDM is possible. Back to supply and demand...
