When I got this car there was nothing on the choke rod. I bought these gaskets and don't know what order they go on. Also if possible can some one tell me which way each piece should be turn to.

from fire out it goes. the leather washer a cone floor board type washer facing towards the firewall and then the spring, there is NO rubber grommet in the hole.

Thanks John. I wonder why they gave me a rubber grommet. Maybe just a universal kit.

Where the spring pushes against the sttel sleeve, the bell mouth goes against the spring, and not facing the carb.
The gas tank bracket takes a rubber grommet. |

Now you got me lost. What bracket are you talking about? Are you saying at the firewall. If so my briggs was made in OCT/Nov 1930. I know there was a rubber grommet in the late years of 1931, correct? I don't think I had one for my time frame.
