Can someone tell me how to find a thread i guess it was about the pickup bed wood floor and the restoring the Model A pu. book. iIt was about 10 days ago. but can no longer find it. Thank You CAPE A new member!

What would you like to know?
The wood was painted the same color as the body, not the fancy stuff you most commonly see.

Thanks for the reply spdway1 the thred was geting into the wood plans for the bed in the book of restoring the Model A Pickup I had this book lent it out and never got it back. i have a saw mill and wanted to make a floor for myself and just needed the paticulars. the book wasa lot of pictures and dont want to buy it a second time. My A will never be a show peice just love working on it and useing it around the yard.

I did have a chance to swing by the parking lot, dam what a bunch of nice As all in one spot. wish i had time to stay longer. Hope to attend a New England gathering some day. T.

I made this wood from rough sawed ash using this print. I have to be careful with it because it is a mixture of northern and southern ash. It try to keep them from fighting.
There sure is a big difference in growth rings. The South being wider.

Thanks George i did find a person who had a file on the plan and lives on cape cod
so i just need to get to work now. was downsouth in GA. last week dam nice.
