Default flywheel wiring

how important is the safety wiring on the flywheel?

Depends. It is kinda like auto insurance. How important to you is that? If you never need it, it might not be that important however if you find yourself in a bad situation you'll be glad you did.

Loctite has been substituted, ...and some have not correctly routed the wire anyway but I have seen the bolts come loose. It makes a tapping noise that sounds like something metallic is on top of a piston.
