Has anyone had expeirence with using a Weber Carb conversion and mainifold? I am considering installing one on my stock 1930 pheaton.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have had one on my car for several years. It is smooth, more efficient in the first stage than a Zenith or Tillotson and when travelling up I-80 over the Sierra's the second stage gets me around the trucks. I never need to use the choke to start.

Been running mine on my 31 tudor since july 2003. I ran it without fuel pump for 1 month , then and only then I would gouge on it around 65 mph and it would suck the fuel working harder to move on out. I don't drive real aggresive over 65 but I did add the autozone 6 volt no regulator pump by aitteck and it was great. You will notice the power in a second , red light to red light you can keep up with modern car. Have fun modelAtony tony white Lafayette,LA

I had a weber, and then switched to a stromberg. The stromber seems to have more power, but I liked the weber better. It was a smoother carberator and seemed to run better over all. I'm sure it will go back on one day soon.
