Default 32-34 Transmission Mount Issue

S0-Cal is trumpeting working with Vern Tardel to re-rubber the rear transmission mount. They require a have a core metel or pay a core charge. I have used the Bob Drake new part that I can't tell from the original. Why is anyone fussing with redoing the rubber on a old core when the end product is a duplicate of a new Bob Drake? Am I messing something?

The originals have a Ford Script on them; need to look at a new one and see if it does. Otherwise, the new ones are not exactly right if one has a 4cyl 33-34.
I just noticed that the "notches" on one side are 90-degrees apart, so if using for a 4cyl (reverse direction) have to cut new notches to clear the T-bolt heads. Maybe the newly-molded ones will be correct???

IF they are doing 32-36's, I knew I was saving all my old originals for a reason...

I just got a 33-34 from SoCal yesterday...it has notches on both sides. Sacramento Vintage Ford was on back order and Bob Drake said they no longer make the 33/34. The Tardel piece from SoCal looks awesome...hope it works as good as it looks
