Default History, lack of

Whilst waiting for the better weather thought I`d have another go at tracing the history of my car. Got as far as the DMV, in Dallas I think, no help, also got a NMVTIS report which was a waste of money, came up with "no historical reports". I guess it must have changed hands and registrations a good few times in its life, shame, would have been nice to know something about the old girl.

Looking for the history of a car can be hard and sometimes disappointing. My car in the 1960's had pink naugahyde seats, grey primer body, white top & running boards, and no back window. It was a surfer buggy.

My car came from a junk yard-no way I will ever know her history.

I'm the third owner of my 29 AA. The previous two owners lived less than three miles apart. In an attempt to keep the history of the truck "alive" I wrote all of the information to date on the inside of the passenger door panel. At lest the history to that point will stay with the truck.
