Try a phone call. E-mails can wind up in a spam file and no one looks at them. A personal call usually gets the job done much quicker.

I can share my observations of having recently installed a window channel kit in my truck. For me it was a slow and tedious job. The glass-run felt was easy to install but the anti-rattle strips almost drove me to drink. In comparing the new clips (the ones that came with my kit) with the old, I noticed the old ones had a head that had 4 segments where the new ones only had 3. Also, the old clip had a more defined "shoulder" on it that allows it to more positively snap into the hole. I tried re-using the clips off of the old strips but they tended to break when I reinstalled them on the new strips. I tried buying clips from one of the well known suppliers but they were exactly like those supplied with my kit. I ended up "adjusting" the new clips with some needle-nose pliers until they would engage in the mounting hole. Then the fun of getting the clips positioned just right on the anti-rattle strip so everything lines up is challenging all by itself. Some guys ditch the clips altogether and use an adhesive to install the strips. Hope this long-winded diatribe helps. Good luck.

Mine too. I thought the OP was just referring to the clips that hold the anti-rattle strips.

The 35's had rubber bumpers for anti rattle, and the 36 had felt strips with little metal clips for attachment. At least that's what I have seen so far, could be it depended on what Ford had in their inventory.
