True Brent but I think it would be a salvage title.

Fires are always sad to me. The car survived 86 years until bad luck or a bad decision.

Do a search on model a ford in the search.
There is a coupe that had a pretty bad front end hit. Is that a car we know?

As the Model A Fords are destroyed, like in the fire above, the survivors become worth more. The law of supply and demand.

Very restore-able. Send it to me and I will prove it. People give up on these cars due to perceived damage instead of looking at what is really going on. My '28 was in the same shape when I tore it down. It will be like new when I get it back together. It just takes time and knowledge.

Sad. What about the engine block in cases like this? Is there enough mass in a cast iron block that the block/head itself isn't necessarily damaged by the heat? (Besides needing a pretty thorough rebuild)

well head and or block would be very warped, crank/rods would be warped i think too. at the very least it would need to be decked and rebabbited...

now if the cold fire hose water hit it its guaranteed to be cracked somewhere.
