Default Head light filaments Bright on bottom?

I could not find answer in the search for headlight adjustments. I have question:

Is the bright filament supposed to be on the bottom as installed in the reflector?

As soon as it gets dark, I would like to adjust my lights tonight.

Yes, the bright is on the bottom so the beam reflects up a little higher.

Thanks Tom. I have well adjusted lights now. Installed reflectors made for Walt Bratton. Very happy with nice bright lights. Test drive success .

this issue has appeared before several times within some context, admittedly the search feature here can be challenging. My question is, though.....with doesn't the bulb manufacturer simply print a "top" on each bulb?

I just got some NORS 32-50 bulbs with the correct shape filaments and
they are marked TOP. I don't know how much difference it makes with
some of the new bulbs with the wrong shape filaments.

The Bottom? I thought the filaments were in line with the center of the reflector and ABOVE the center.

The center High and the upper low beam. The upper filament reflects the light down? NO?
