The correct grease gun for 1928 until mid-1929 is the bottom one in the attached photo. It will be marked "ALEMITE LUBRICATOR" and below that will be "THE BASSICK MFG CO" It has a fine straight knurl on the cap.
By mid-1929 the second line was changed to read "ALEMITE CORPORATION" and the cap had a coarse straight knurl. This is the middle one in the photo.
The top one in the photo is the Canadian grease gun marked with "STEWART-WARNER-ALEMITE CORP, CANADA LTD".
