A couple of 59a Engine Queries rebuild.
Machinist is almost there for 59a short block completion.
1: The clearance fuel pump push rod to bush is noted at 20 thou and he is wanting a 5 thou, ie replace the bush. Is this a big deal?
2: Oil pan freeze plugs 4 pcs, new ones to be fitted. Just to tap them in with nil sealer? Or freeze down for easy fit and sealer to use?
3:Valves, Is there a limit heel area of valve stem can be ground before hardning at this area is compromised?
Appreciate all advice. This oneis almost ready for home time to my place
