I have and have had many A's both Rod and Stock.
I have and have had problems with both.
It's just the nature of the beast.
With both, re pop parts are far from good.
As mentioned, there is a ton more work to do with dropping in a SBC and it is very expensive.
As mentioned, unless you are attached to that A, sell it and buy a Hot Rod that you like done!
