I have had cotton, Kevlar, and wood bands on my 19 T.
My dad put the cotton bands on and they were were good.
The Kevlar bands were put on the rebuilt motor and were better.
The wood bands came with the second rebuilt motor and I like their feel best.
When the time comes to replace them I will defiantly use wood bands
