I used U-Haul last summer to go to a Michigan meet. I was truly disappointed with the lack of instruction from U-Haul. I was a total newbie, and the rental agent lied about knowing anything about trailers. All I could figure was he was dodging potential liability if I had a problem later. To know “nothing” about trailers, he “oddly” was able to hook up the trailer just fine to the U-Haul truck I rented with the trailer.
